Permanent residency for foreigners contributing to the Korean economy through tech startups
Overview
F-5-24 is available to foreigners who have stayed for 3+ years on a tech startup (D-8-4) visa, raised KRW 300 million (approx. USD 225,000) or more in investment, and employed 2+ Korean nationals. The primary target is founders of innovative tech startups.
Target Applicants
- Foreigners operating a business on a D-8-4 tech startup visa
- Founders of innovative tech startups with revenue and employment track records
- Foreign founders of companies that have graduated from government startup support programs
Eligibility
- 13+ years of continuous residence on tech startup (D-8-4) status
- 2Raised KRW 300 million (approx. USD 225,000) or more in investment or equivalent capital secured
- 3Employed 2+ Korean nationals full-time for 6+ months
- 4No criminal record
