Residence visa through property investment in government-designated areas
Overview
The F-2 Real Estate Investment Visa is issued to foreigners who invest a certain amount or more in real estate (condos, resorts, etc.) in areas designated by the Ministry of Justice (Jeju Island, Gangwon Province, etc.). After maintaining the investment, holders can transition to F-5-17 permanent residency.

Eligibility
- 1Real estate investment in a government-designated area (typically KRW 500 million / approx. USD 375,000 or more)

- 4No criminal record or entry ban history
