The E-7 Special Activities Visa is granted to foreigners who wish to work in Korea utilizing their professional knowledge, skills, or expertise. It covers 91 designated professional occupations, and the employer (Korean company) must obtain an employment recommendation letter. It is used across various professional fields including IT, engineering, management, translation/interpretation, and design.

Eligibility
- 1Qualify for one of the 91 designated special activities occupations
- 2Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3Employment contract with a Korean company
- 4Employer must obtain an employment recommendation letter
- 5No criminal record or entry ban history

Process
Processing Time: Approximately 2-4 weeks (employment recommendation takes an additional 1-2 weeks)
Employment Contract
Sign employment contract with a Korean company and confirm the occupation category
Employment Recommendation
Employer obtains employment recommendation letter from the local immigration office
Visa Application
Apply for E-7 visa at a Korean embassy/consulate or immigration office

Visa issued after review and work commences
