Overview

The E-6 Arts & Entertainment Visa is issued to foreigners who wish to engage in profit-generating activities in music, fine arts, literature, performance, entertainment, or sports in Korea. Sub-types include E-6-1 (Arts/Entertainment), E-6-2 (Hotel/Venue Performance), and E-6-3 (Athletes). A sponsoring organization or contracting party must be confirmed.

Eligibility

  • 1A confirmed sponsoring organization or contracting party
  • 2Demonstrated expertise through career history or awards in the relevant field
  • 3No criminal record or entry ban history
  • 4Performance recommendation letter from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism required for E-6-2

Apply for a Certificate of Visa Issuance at the immigration office

Apply for E-6 visa at a Korean embassy or consulate

Register as a foreigner within 90 days of entry
